Bringing Joy out of Creativity-Craft volunteers needed for hospice patients

Looking for an flexible volunteer opportunity where you can work from home? Do you enjoy making hand made cards or sewing? Grane Hospice Care is seeking volunteers to make crafts for our patients. We are in need of volunteers to make: hand made cards, memory bears, and fidget mats. Looking for a way to involve your children in volunteering? Hand made cards are a great way to enjoy volunteering with your family. Children can help decorate cards or include their art work. Hand made cards bring a special touch to a patient at the end of life. Cards brighten up a patients room and who doesn't love receiving mail!?! Memory bears are stuffed bears that are given to a patient's family after their loved one has passed. A memory bear is made from a shirt from a patient as a keepsake for the family. Fidget mats are wonderful for our patients! These can be made of scraps of material and items you have laying around the house! Have any extra buttons or crafting supplies you do not need?
