Bachelor's Degree Certification or Licensing Required:
Immunization License, Valid CPR Certification, and a valid pharmacy license (multiple states preferred) Lifting Requirement:
Up to 25 pounds Travel Required:
Regional - Daily, more than 50% Key Responsibilities Ensure safe and efficient dispensing of patient orders by adhering to all quality assurance policies. Provide exceptional patient care by effectively engaging and addressing patient needs through counseling and problem solving. Perform all Pharmacist duties, including interpreting, filling, and refilling prescriptions for medications and durable medical equipment while maintaining accurate patient profiles. Support the Team Leader in optimizing team performance and patient experiences by efficiently delegating tasks and using supplies and equipment. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies to meet patient needs and maximize profitability. Keep a clean and compliant work environment that meets all company and regulatory requirements. Review service metrics and collaborate with the team to implement action plans for improvement. Complete necessary paperwork and familiarize yourself with audit procedures. Engage in company initiatives and programs to enhance pharmacy operations. Stay current on new drugs, therapies, and pharmacy developments to maintain professional competency. Build a strong rapport with healthcare partners, including physicians, nurses, and medical assistants. Fulfill roles of Pharmacy Team Leader and Pharmacy Technician as needed. Mentor and train new pharmacy team members to foster a supportive environment. Encourage a positive workplace culture for all team members. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members when appropriate. Comply with all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
