The Brookmere Hotel and Regent Restaurant &Bar, which opened in November 2024 and managed by Hay Creek Hotels, the Brookmere is a landmark hospitality development in Saratoga Springs, NY. Located just one mile from the iconic Saratoga Racetrack and adjacent to the Saratoga National Golf Course, this reimagined 10-acre property-formerly Longfellows Hotel-features 88 refined guestrooms, a full-service restaurant and bar with a seasonal outdoor porch, a tranquil spa, and 6,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. With private access to Lake Lonely, this upper-upscale destination sets a new standard for boutique hospitality in the region.
A houseman performs general cleaning and maintenance, ensuring property cleanliness and order through tasks like vacuuming, dusting, mopping and polishing surfaces. They also handle waste removal, laundry pick up and deliveries to hotel closets, restocking toiletries. Floors: Vacuuming hallways and lobby carpets, mopping floors and sweeping Surfaces: Dusting, polishing furniture, and cleaning countertops, tables and other fixtures Windows & Fixtures: Cleaning windows, mirrors, light fixtures and glass waste: Emptying trash cans, managing recycling and disposing of waste Specific Areas: Maintaining the cleanliness of bathrooms, hallways, and public areas. Reporting: Identifying and reporting any damage or maintenance needs to the engineering team Requests: Responding to guest requests and providing assistance with their needs and delivering requested items to rooms. Experience and Skills Required Experience:
1 year cleaning experience preferred Neat and professional appearance Positive, team player attitude Self-motivated individual Flexibility to work nights or mornings, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days (i.e. town festivals).
