Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program At least 2 years of medical assisting experience Ability to read and write medical terminology accurately CPR certification required Experience with Eclinical or Athena EMR systems preferred Primary Care experience strongly preferred Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills Responsibilities:
Greet patients and ensure smooth patient flow Escort patients to discharge area Obtain patient histories, assess and triage patients, measure vital signs, and document information Explain treatment procedures and prepare patients and exam rooms Position instruments and equipment, assist physicians during procedures Clean and sterilize instruments after use Assist with injections, vaccinations, and blood draws Calculate medication dosages Complete medical charts with services rendered, test results, and supplies used Perform patient follow-ups, coordinate referrals and testing, schedule appointments Support registration staff and perform clerical duties as needed Benefits:
