We are seeking an experienced

Controls Design Engineer

with a strong background in powertrain and transmission systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in controls design, specifically using

MATLAB/Simulink

for modeling and simulation. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing control algorithms for high-performance powertrain and transmission systems, contributing to cutting-edge automotive engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement control strategies for powertrain and transmission systems to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability. Use MATLAB/Simulink to build and validate dynamic control models, simulate system behavior, and predict performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control algorithms into powertrain and transmission systems and ensure compatibility with hardware. Conduct system testing, tuning, and validation for controls to meet performance requirements and adhere to industry standards. Developing control features for various electromechanical system architectures through model-based control development. Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field. Experience :

3+ years of experience in

controls design

with a focus on

powertrain and transmission systems . Proficiency in

MATLAB/Simulink

for control design, modeling, and simulation. Strong knowledge of

powertrain and transmission dynamics , including experience with control algorithms for these systems. Experience in model-based development using matlab and simulink
