Role Summary We are seeking a
Technical Lead - Data Infrastructure
to serve as the hands-on engineering counterpart to the Managing Director of Data. This role is responsible for executing the company's data strategy by designing, building, and optimizing its first enterprise-grade data infrastructure.
You will lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and architect scalable solutions that support data integration, governance, and analytics across the organization. This is a high-impact role that blends strategic thinking with deep technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement the company's data infrastructure roadmap in collaboration with leadership. Build and maintain scalable data storage solutions including data lakes and data warehouses. Lead and mentor data engineers and analysts while contributing hands-on to development efforts. Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines and automate data extraction from diverse sources. Architect integrations with key platforms such as Salesforce and other internal systems. Implement API-based and web scraping solutions to gather external datasets. Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all systems and processes. Provide project management oversight for technical data initiatives. Key Requirements
5+ years of experience in data engineering, infrastructure design, or technical leadership. Proven experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery). Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL/data engineering tools and platforms. Experience with distributed processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Sedona). Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Hands-on experience with API integrations, web scraping, and OCR technologies. Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and collaborate with stakeholders. Preferred: Experience with Salesforce and streaming technologies like Kafka.
