The Receptionist / Patrol Officer positions help maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises and patrolling various locations. Security Officers provide a visible security presence, enforce regulations, and may offer customer service and information to clients’ employees and visitors.

Security Officer — Receptionist / Patrol Officer

Responsibilities

• Surveillance: Monitor security cameras and patrol assigned premises to detect suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or safety hazards.
• Access Control: Enforce access control policies, check identification, issue visitor passes, and restrict access to authorized personnel only.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security incidents; report or escalate to appropriate authorities as needed.
• Incident Reporting: Document incidents, suspicious activity, or safety concerns in clear, accurate reports for action or investigation.
• Patrolling: Conduct foot or vehicle patrols to secure entrances, parking lots, and perimeters; check for unsecured doors or tampered gates.
• Customer Service: Greet and assist visitors or employees, provide directions, and answer inquiries in a professional manner.
• Safety Inspections: Inspect premises for hazards, fire risks, or conditions that could affect safety.
• Conflict Resolution: Handle minor disputes to maintain a calm and safe environment.
• Collaboration: Coordinate security efforts with other security staff, law enforcement, or emergency responders as needed.

Schedule & Location

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Location varies by client site.

Compensation

Security Officers: $19.47 per hour.

Qualifications

• Excellent observational and de-escalation skills; ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills; capable of working with global and local security teams.
• Committed to ethical practices and following safety protocols with a safe and respectful approach.
• Ability to effectively speak, read, and write English.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
