Location: Warren, MI Pay Rate: $35-$45/hr Contract to hire This team has a flexible start time, but typically starts work between 6-730am. The number of hours per week is flexible too, depending on the volume of work and deadlines. Typical work week is 45-55 hours, no Saturdays, no travel. Work location is Warren, MI Need someone with at least 3 years of experience. Key skills beyond basic knowledge of controls and robots, are Microsoft Excel, with the ability to write macros and do complex linked spreadsheets. Teamcenter is a plus. Welding process is a big plus. Controls Estimator

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates by analyzing customer specifications, scope of work, and detailed controls content to develop competitive and accurate bids. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates for controls manufacturing, engineering, integration, and tryout based on customer specifications. Analyze the scope of work and project documentation to ensure full understanding of quoted content. Maintain accurate and up-to-date estimate tracking matrices by project and job number. Provide estimates for legacy projects, including kits, product changes, and enhancements. Participate in project team meetings to align with cross-functional goals. Perform additional duties as assigned to support team success. Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. BSEE preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating or controls design, or 3 years of experience in tool pipe & wire assembly, system integration, and controls manufacturing. Familiarity with robotic spot welding and MIG welding systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with AutoCAD. Strong analytical skills for reviewing and compiling complex data. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to draft clear and professional quote letters. Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills. Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Work Environment : This position operates in both an office and a manufacturing site environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. Occasionally required to physically climb in/out of tooling on the manufacturing floor.
