Production Team Member

Location: Brighton, CO

Vestas is the energy industry's global partner on sustainable energy solutions. We design, manufacture, install and service wind turbines. The Nacelles Factory in Brighton manufactures nacelles and hubs for wind turbines in 265,000 square feet of space.

Join our production team and play a crucial role in the assembly of nacelles. You will assemble fabricated parts at designated floor stations, handle mechanical components, and use pneumatic and power tools to construct high-quality nacelle units efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently assemble components using hand and power tools.
• Operate manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to Process Work Instructions and manual production processes, ensuring parts fit and are assembled correctly (bolts, screws, shafts, bearings, etc.).
• Meet production standards within the allotted time frame.
• Handle materials by lifting, positioning, and moving them as needed.
• Manage materials using a bridge crane for loading, stacking, and transportation.
• Interpret schematics to accurately assemble machine components.
• Collaborate with fellow assemblers to construct the final product.
• Test and inspect components to ensure they meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is required.
• Familiarity with standard power and hand tools.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.

Shift, Pay and Benefits

• Day Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00am to 3:30pm. Overtime may be available on Fridays.
• Night Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00pm - 3:30am with a $3/hour differential.
• Pay: $23.50 - $30 per hour (depending on experience).
