Date Available: 09/22/2025 The Susquehanna Township High School is seeking 2 highly motivated, flexible, student-centered candidates to provide services to students. The Behavioral Intervention Assistant provides specific and intensive support to Susquehanna Township School District students exhibiting behavioral challenges in accordance with comprehensive positive behavioral intervention plans; will utilize effective behavior management strategies; will work 1:1 with students for short term emergency situations; implement de-escalation strategies; participate as a member of the educational team, and help implement all components of the student's individual behavior plan. High school diploma plus two years of post- secondary education required or a passing grade on a highly qualified test.
Qualifications Profile Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
High School diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of college level coursework Prior experience working with children desirable.
Candidates must upload copies of current clearances including Act 34, 126, 151, and 114, three letters of reference, current resume, and copy of transcripts (if applicable). A tb test and physical will be required upon hire. Paper applications are not accepted.
