Experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary:
We're looking for a
Med-Surg Registered Nurse
to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients. You'll work closely with doctors and the healthcare team to monitor patient progress, provide treatments, and educate patients and families. Your role is key in ensuring patients receive excellent care and support during their hospital stay.
What You'll Do:
Check on patients when they arrive and during every shift.
Monitor for any changes and let the care team know immediately.
Carry out treatments and procedures as ordered by doctors.
Give medications and watch for side effects or unexpected reactions.
Respond quickly to patient requests and anticipate their needs.
Help patients and families understand conditions, treatments, and medications in simple terms.
Requirements:
1+ year of Med-Surg experience in an acute care setting
(Required)
Registered Nurse (RN) license
(Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
– must be obtained within 30 days of hire
Associate Degree in Nursing
(Required)
