The Role

Be the "face" of the company! Friendly interaction with customers and co-workers daily, while being able to be physically active and mindfully busy. Provide a great customer experience by accurately and timely, filling customer orders, receiving and putting away material, perform inventory cycle counts, general warehouse organization, Contribute to a team atmosphere that is committed to providing our customers with a great experience by demonstrating our Core Values of Exceptional Service, Continuous Improvement/Forward Thinking, Industry Expertise, Respect, and Mutual Profitability.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily warehouse tasks including but not limited to receiving, stocking, order-fulfillment, cycle counts, wire cuts, etc.
• Maintain safe operations and clean work environment by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards. Keep clear aisles and walkways.
• Perform and record daily equipment inspections as required.
• Load and/or unload trucks as needed, giving consideration to order of delivery, fragile material, etc. Utilize safe lifting procedures and appropriate equipment as needed.
• Making occasional deliveries to customers and job sites.
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude toward customers and co-workers by being friendly, cooperative and courteous.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as needed.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, carry, or reach. The employee is required to sit, climb, balance or stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift from 10 to 25 lbs. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 100 lbs. The employee must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material, payment processing, etc. The employee is regularly required to apply sound reasoning and logic in performing daily tasks. The employee is required to be able to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and/or wire-cutting machine. Must be able to be exposed to heights of 15 to 20 feet in the air.
