Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of logistics activities while providing exceptional customer service. This position involves warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and organizing materials, as well as engaging with customers to process orders and answer inquiries. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach are key to this role. The Warehouse Associate will also assist with inventory control and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. Fluency in English is required to communicate effectively with our franchisee base.

WHO WE ARE: DonutNV is a mobile interactive food truck franchise that specializes in hot, mini donuts made to order paired with our freshly squeezed lemonade and NVious iced coffee. Our franchises can be found in over 100 locations across the nation. Our mission is to make the world sweeter one donut at a time. The DonutNV corporate team is based in the Central Florida area with offices in Clermont and Orlando respectively. This role would be in the Brand Management and Logistics department which currently operates at our east Orlando facility.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for the picking and packing of product SKUs for customers’ orders.
• Maintains accurate order picking and packing per Standard Operating Procedures while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Completes orders in a correct and timely manner to ensure they are received on time.
• Engage with franchisees in English to answer inquiries, process orders, and provide product recommendations.
• Use the web platform Shopify for fulfilling orders and ensuring proper inventory levels.
• Maintain organized inventory in the warehouse, ensuring all materials are easily accessible.
• Assist in inventory control and stock replenishment to ensure the warehouse is fully stocked.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cutting tools as needed.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment by regularly cleaning and maintaining the warehouse.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and workflow.
• Provide support to other members of the team within the shipping warehouse.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines in the warehouse.
• Provide excellent customer service in person, on the phone, and via email.

• Operate various pieces of equipment (i.e., Stand-Up Forklifts, and Electrical Pallet Jacks) and cutting tools as needed.

• A team player with clear communication and collaboration skills.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations or related fields preferred.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Familiar with shipping platforms such as Rollo, ShipStation etc.
• Experience with Shopify storefronts.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Capable of working in various positions, including standing, bending, and moving throughout the warehouse.
• Good manual agility for handling equipment and paperwork.
• Ability to use basic warehouse tools and equipment safely.
• Comfort working in both an office and warehouse setting.
