As a Purchasing Coordinator with Systems Control, you will provide purchasing and administrative support to the Procurement and Supply Chain Management teams. This is an onsite position in Iron Mountain, MI.

Supports Buyers in issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries for materials, supplies, equipment and outside services
Receives acknowledgements, tracks late deliveries and communicates with suppliers
Updates and tracks supplier quality issues in the NCN process ensuring credits are received in a timely manner
Creates quarterly scorecards for suppliers
Assists the Director of Supply Chain Management to create, disperse and execute contracts
Maintains and updates material and vendor information in Syteline; including pricing, lead time, and min/max levels
Maintains and updates blanket purchase orders as needed
Assists department in obtaining material/service quotations
Assists Project Manager’s with item master creation, sourcing material and maintains item master data in Syteline
Assists in updating department metrics on a monthly basis (delivery, quality, and cost)
Assists in updating supplier diversity spend on a monthly basis
Assists the Material Specialist and Buyers with adding/removing items from Kanban and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
Maintains a filing system in the purchase department and updating appropriate records when required
Assists Accounts Payable by processing invoices for payment
Executes weekly/bi-weekly reports to evaluate shifts in demand for key materials
Supports Material Coordinator, Buyers and Director of Supply Chain Management with specific projects.

High School Diploma
Minimum of 1 year of experience in purchasing or business environment
Computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with internal customers and external suppliers
Strong organizational skills
Sound problem solving skills
