About The Position
Anesthesiology Locums Physician - Pennsylvania, Flexible Schedule
Flexible Anesthesiology assignment in Pennsylvania with long-term potential and optional call shifts.
Highlights
- Estimated 20 shifts/month; ongoing need
- 9-hour weekday shifts + optional 12- or 24-hour in-house call
- Long-term assignment with consistent monthly blocks
- Open to IMLC physicians
Practice Setting
- Inpatient hospital with high-acuity cases
- 9 anesthesiologists and full CRNA team
- 18 anesthetizing locations in use daily
- Cerner EMR
Schedule
- Monday-Friday day shifts: 9 hours
- Weekend call available in 12- or 24-hour blocks
- 60-day credentialing timeline
- Consistent monthly blocks available into 2026
Cases and Procedures
- Bread-and-butter plus OB, cardiac, neuro, and ortho blocks
- 330+ C-sections/year, 40 OR cases/day, 30 GI cases/day
- 300 cardiac cases/year
- 90% adult, 10% pediatric
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible (within 3 years of training)
- Pennsylvania license or IMLC eligible
- DEA, ACLS, and NPDB self-query required for presentation
Travel Accommodations
