Gastroenterology Locums Physician - South Carolina
Inpatient-only Gastroenterology assignment near Florence, South Carolina with block scheduling and no ERCP requirements.
Highlights

Practice Setting
- Inpatient-only coverage at a regional hospital
- No clinic or outpatient volume
- APP helps with weekday rounding and consults
- Weekend procedures performed in the OR if needed
Schedule
- 24-hour call with onsite daytime responsibilities
- Rounding, consults, and procedures 8-10 hours/day
- Lighter consult volume on weekends
- Assignment blocks open through late 2025
Cases and Procedures
- Focus on inpatient GI scopes and emergent procedures
- 15-20 new consults/day plus inpatient scopes
- No ERCP required
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active South Carolina license (or open to those seeking it)
- BLS and DEA required
