Our client, a leader in furniture manufacturing and design, is seeking a highly skilled and technically driven Product Development Engineer to join their team.
As a Product Development Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting product innovation, development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What's the Job?
Lead and manage engineering change requests (ECRs) across multiple product lines to ensure seamless implementation.
Support the development of new furniture designs, focusing on manufacturability, quality, and adherence to design intent.
Create and maintain detailed parametric 3D models, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using SolidWorks.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, and operations to ensure smooth project execution.
Help define and establish engineering standards and best practices for documentation and design processes.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in furniture product development and manufacturing;
Proficiency in SolidWorks, including parametric modeling and large assemblies.
Deep understanding of materials, joinery, and construction techniques for high-end furniture.
Experience navigating engineering change processes and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
