We are seeking Account Executives in San Francisco and the Mid-Atlantic to drive expansion across Academic, Biotech, Pharma, and Government accounts. The role offers a competitive compensation structure (60:40 split with accelerators), and territories are already well established with significant opportunities ahead.

Job Summary

Were seeking a sales professional with 5+ years of hands-on experience in sequencing sales who has consistently surpassed revenue goals and built strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be confident engaging with Academic, Biotech, Pharma, and Government clients, and will bring a proven history of using a consultative approach to develop strategies that deliver tangible results. Experience selling sequencing services or capital equipment related to sequencing is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new business opportunities, driving lead generation through consultative selling and converting them into long-term accounts. Manage your pipeline with precision, using CRM systems such as Salesforce, Hubspot, or comparable platforms to stay on top of tasks and opportunities. Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination across all phases of the sales cycle. Lead territory planning and account strategy efforts, identifying priority targets and building execution plans. Grow market presence with a particular focus on the pharma sector by cultivating new partnerships and expanding existing relationships.
