$20 - $23/hour "Warehouse Associate" Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Associate, your job duties will include, but are not limited to, maintaining inventory at the warehouse, receiving/issuing/organizing materials efficiently, preparing material daily to support our installation crews, and more. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with great multitasking and organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Storing, pulling, and packing materials as well as scanning orders received in the warehouse for solar projects Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies Work closely with the Warehouse Lead to discuss upcoming installs, special material requirements, or special projects Ensure the warehouse area is clean and organized, and that all safety procedures are being followed at all times by yourself and your teammates Follow company policies and procedures to maintain effective shipping and receiving processes Collaborate with National Inventory Manager and HQ Supply Chain team to ensure inventory Operate and preventively maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment Operating a forklift to move goods to identify areas Ensure all picking, fulfillment, inventory counts, and receipts are properly and timely documented Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications:
Education Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent
Required Skills:
2 years of warehouse experience preferred Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment Forklift experience is a plus Pull and pack materials for each installation job, ensuring that all required products are loaded onto the installation truck' OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Standards compliance Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy Experience in Warehouse Logistics Demonstrated problem-solving skills related to people and inventory Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move around the warehouse for prolonged periods. standing, kneeling, bending, Squat and climbing ladders (Daily) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time (Daily) Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements and have valid driver's license while maintaining a clean driving record
