About the Role
WiSC Enterprises is seeking a
Business Operations Specialist (SME)
to provide expert-level operational, administrative, and technical support to complex government programs and contracts. As a senior subject matter expert, you will bring leadership, insight, and strategic direction to some of the most demanding projects, ensuring efficient program execution and compliance with government standards.
Responsibilities
Provide
expert input and leadership
on highly complex and mission-critical government programs. Understand and communicate program context, history, competing priorities, and stakeholder perspectives to drive informed decision-making. Formulate and implement
strategic operational plans
in coordination with senior government and contractor stakeholders. Streamline business, security, financial, and administrative processes to optimize program performance. Support contract execution by coordinating cross-functional activities, tracking deliverables, and implementing new initiatives. Oversee and advise on compliance with applicable government policies, procedures, and standards. Manage sensitive security-related processes (e.g., clearance tracking, visit requests, document handling). Support program and project reporting, risk tracking, and resource planning to ensure timely delivery of objectives. Prepare and present operational updates, reports, and briefings for leadership and mission stakeholders. Required Qualifications
Active Top Secret clearance
(TS/SCI preferred). Education and experience meeting SME-level requirements: PhD
+ 10 years of related experience,
OR Master's degree
+ 14 years of related experience,
OR Bachelor's degree
+ 16 years of related experience. Extensive experience providing
expert-level operational and business support
to U.S. government programs or defense contracts. Strong knowledge of
program management, contracting, and compliance
in secure environments. Proven ability to lead initiatives, advise senior stakeholders, and manage complex priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce polished reports and briefings. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business/operations tools.
