1st Shift Blender Operators
to work in Dry Powder division.
The right candidate will have previous experience in blending (preferably in the food and beverage industry, not required), and have a stable work history with previous employers. Must be able to be accountable to the company's need for overtime & weekend work as required.

(6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday); OT and weekends as needed
Job Summary:
The
Blender Operator
is responsible for the accurate pre-weighing, loading, mixing and blending of dry powder ingredients, while monitoring equipment, documenting batch records (MMR), performing in-process checks, and working with the team to ensure consistency, efficiency, and product integrity.
What You'll Do: Set up and ensure blender systems/machinery and metal detectors are in proper operating condition before production begins Safely operate overhead hoist equipment and forklifts to properly position raw materials needed for production runs Load and dump raw ingredients into blender system following the MMR (batch ticket) Ensure blending process is completed according to client specifications following food safety and quality requirements Responsible for assembly, disassembly, cleaning and sanitizing of all blending equipment and packaging rooms; Perform general cleaning of blending room and blending room equipment, including wet clean operations as needed Assist in the line set up and preparation of packaging systems to fill product into packaging components in packaging rooms Operate bag sealing equipment such as the Fischbein and Thiele Sealer, ensuring proper seal integrity Monitor and support all quality measures, including overall visual bag inspection for seal integrity, coding and weight details, etc., reporting any errors or discrepancies to Production Supervisor immediately for resolution Palletize finished product appropriately for proper staging, storage or shipping requirements Complete real-time documentation of all quality attributes such as periodic quality checks, product identifying lot numbers, and ingredient data into quality documents Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure equipment and product quality is maintained at all times Provide support as needed by working overtime to help operations and other shifts in staffing shortages Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership.
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent 1+ year of experience in a mixer/blender role, preferably in food manufacturing Must be able to proficiently read, write, and communicate in English
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a bottling and canning facility or food/beverage manufacturing environment with understanding of food safety/quality programs such as GMPs
Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to stand; walk; talk or hear; reach above shoulders; use hands to finger, handle, grasp, pinch or touch objects, controls, tools or equipment; kneel, crouch and use foot/feet to operate machinery; bend at the waist; climb or balance Frequently required to lift, carry, move, push or pull materials, product or equipment up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to ten (10) or more hours in a single shift This position requires reliability & punctuality, strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team*
Compensation Package:
