Data and Analytics Analyst III

Pay Rate: $65 - $70.00 per hr.
Our client is looking for a Data Engineer / Analytics Developer (Level 3) to support a key initiative: building out analytics capabilities for our chatbot platform. This is a 12-month contract role where you'll be responsible for designing data pipelines, staging data for reporting, and developing visualization solutions. The work you deliver will enable stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions about chatbot performance. You'll join a technical, collaborative team that focuses on data engineering and visualization. While this is not a data science role, your work will directly empower business teams to analyze and act on data.
Primary Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to support chatbot analytics. Clean, transform, and stage data for reporting and dashboards. Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards (Tableau experience acceptable). Partner with stakeholders to capture requirements, document processes, and deliver solutions that drive decisions. Support the transition from exploratory analysis to a structured buildout of chatbot analytics capabilities. Ensure scalability, reliability, and usability of all delivered solutions. Required Skills:
Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field and three (3) years of experience in a data analytics or related role Or, a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field and four (4) years of experience in a data analytics or related role Python - ETL and pipeline development Data Visualization - dashboard/reporting development Power BI (or Tableau with strong experience) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working with stakeholders in unmapped or evolving processes Skilled at documenting requirements and systems clearly Collaborative mindset - delivers tools that enable others to perform the analysis Bonus Skills:
Finance background Snowflake / Snowpark Process mapping and documenting data workflows Cloud-based pipeline development Familiarity with chatbot or conversational AI datasets
