Summary

: The Material Handler position is responsible for efficiently handling materials coming from Manufacturing and outside Suppliers that is being processed into our Assembly Plants and being sent to our customers. The salary range for this position is $18.00 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. You may apply online at www.westrock.com/company/careers and the application window is expected to close by 10/25/25 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Be proficient and knowledgeable about safely operating an electric pallet jack, stand-up reach truck, clamp truck and sit-down swing reach truck. Complete a daily safety/maintenance checklist on the material handling equipment at the beginning of each shift. Ensure all safety equipment and devices are in place and working properly. Safely operate all material handling equipment within the plant to prevent damage or personal injury. Unload inbound trucks, warehouse materials, supply production lines, and load outbound shipments. Utilize safety precautions and guidelines to ensure each trailer is safe to load/unload. Properly unitize and mark materials. Load various pallets to maximize trailer utilization while minimizing transit damage. Complete all paperwork associated with the movement of materials with accuracy and efficiency. Will us an RF Scanner to load, unload, and moving items within the warehouse. Maintain accurate inventory of all materials; perform daily cycle counts. Assist in other areas as needed to maintain a tram approach. Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area. Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. Overtime is required. Perform other duties as assigned.
