PGS Worldwide is actively seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to support a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical systems that support national security initiatives and cutting-edge technologies.
Job Titles: Maintenance Technician - Aerospace & Defense Mechanical Maintenance Specialist - 1st Shift Required Skills & Experience:
Working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and building alarm systems Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications Skilled in the use of hand and power tools Experience conducting routine inspections and performing preventive maintenance Familiarity with boilers and general building infrastructure support Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery, equipment, and facility systems Preferred Qualifications:
Post-secondary education or trade certification (not required but a plus) Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing environments Exposure to multiple trades including carpentry, welding, and sheet metal fabrication Key Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and maintenance on plant equipment, systems, and infrastructure Support various trades including electrical, plumbing, painting, and mechanical repair Test, inspect, and troubleshoot systems and machinery Ensure preventive maintenance is conducted to minimize downtime Assist with the operation and maintenance of critical building systems, including alarm and boiler systems Additional Details:
Work Shift:
1st Shift (9/80A schedule) - Every other Friday off; however, overtime may require working off-Fridays or weekends as needed Travel:
