Wiginton Fire Systems is seeking experienced Traveling Fire Sprinkler Foremen to lead field crews in the installation of water-based fire protection systems at project sites across multiple states. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working on the road, mentoring others, and ensuring high-quality installations in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and train teams in the installation of fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, and fire pumps Execute work according to fire protection design drawings and NFPA standards Manage and track materials delivered to job sites Operate hand and power tools to cut, thread, and install piping systems Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to maintain schedule and quality Maintain daily documentation and jobsite reports Mentor apprentices and helpers to build the next generation of talent Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Pressure test and inspect piping systems for leaks and code compliance Work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts at heights over 40 feet Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 4 years of fire sprinkler installation experience, with at least 1-2 years as a foreman Willingness to travel extensively (regional or national projects as needed) Valid driver's license and ability to meet all insurance requirements Strong leadership, communication, and job planning skills Knowledge of NFPA standards, fire code requirements, and jobsite safety Journeyman certification (preferred) Must be able to work independently and in physically demanding environments Only candidates with relevant fire sprinkler installation and foreman experience will be considered What We Offer:
