JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Provides collaborative leadership for the process of planning, directing, integrating and coordinating activities to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high quality services. Responsible for operations of assigned department(s). Provides oversight as needed; responsible for personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements and strategic planning. Works in a clinical capacity to facilitate smooth functioning of the department when necessary.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Diagnostic Imaging teams at Samaritan Health Services use state-of-the-art imaging technology while providing health care teams with the information needed for a fast, accurate diagnosis. Imaging services include: X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET-CT, Ultrasound services, Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS BSN or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred. Current unencumbered Oregon RN License required. Two (2) years RN experience and two (2) years in a leadership role required. Healthcare Provider BLS required. Successful completion of management courses/education program preferred. GSR Cardiac Cath Lab:

BSN required. ACLS required. Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.
