Our client, a growing regenerative medicine company, is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in L.A County, CA!
Pay rate:
$45-50/hr. DOE Location:

Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
Position Overview The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of a facility's infrastructure and equipment. This role ensures the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities include managing building systems, coordinating maintenance activities, overseeing projects, and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities Oversee facility upgrades, renovations, and construction projects. Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and legal standards. Monitor and manage budgets related to maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for specialized maintenance work. Conduct routine facility inspections, identify issues, and prepare detailed reports. Respond to emergencies involving building systems and infrastructure. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the facility supports operational needs. Implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and facility changes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. 3-4 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance engineering, or a related role
within the pharmaceutical, personal care, cosmetics, or regenerative skincare industries. Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and water systems. Familiarity with mechanical equipment such as pumps, tanks, mixers, or other facility-related machinery. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues. Project management skills with the ability to oversee repairs, upgrades, and installations. Working knowledge of cleanroom environments and ISO classifications is a plus.
