We are seeking a skilled Die Maintenance Technician to join our team for the 1st shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing dies used in the production aluminum castings.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and troubleshoot dies to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on dies to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Repair or replace damaged or worn die components
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy of die components
- Collaborate with production team to ensure timely and efficient die changes
- Maintain accurate records of die maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 or more years of experience in die maintenance or related field
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of die components and their functions
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
