Enjoy fall colors at Indian Springs Metropark while helping natural resources staff collect native plant seed or remove invasive shrubs! Volunteers will learn about how their work helps us preserve prairies and forests found within the park. All necessary tools and equipment will be provided. We will provide gloves, but feel free to bring your favorite pair! Please be sure to dress for working outdoors and off-trail in areas that may include poison ivy (long pants, layered clothing, closed-toe shoes, rain gear, hat, sunscreen, etc.). Don’t forget to bring a bottle of water! Ages: 12 and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
