Lily Home and Hospice
Lily Hospice Companions (Grafton/Cedarburg area)
Lily Home and Hospice, Grafton, Wisconsin, United States, 53024
At Lily Home & Hospice, we strive to make the end of life as comfortable as possible for those we visit by providing care that is personalized to each individual.
We emphasize our patient's quality of life instead of the duration and strive to make this experience more inclusive rather than isolated.
Many hospice patients need and want someone to spend time with, and we are looking for compassionate, dedicated volunteers to give them that most basic of needs
- human connection. Lily Hospice Volunteers
provide comfort and support through companionship, finding meaning in every moment.
As a volunteer, you might spend time just talking, sharing stories and memories, listening to music or watching a movie, assisting with an activity or other non-medical tasks. There are also times to simply sit quietly with a patient to let them know they are not alone. We take our mission seriously, but we also have fun while partnering with our patients on their journey. At Lily Hospice, we care for our patients in the comfort of their own home.
For some, home might be a private residence, while others might reside in an assisted living or nursing facility/health center. Visitors are needed throughout the Grafton/Cedarburg area. We do take into account your location to assign visits that are within or near your own community. Contact Peggy, Volunteer Services, at: 262-235-3115 or pczarnik@lilyhealthcare.org for more information on becoming a Hospice Companion in the Grafton/Cedarburg area.
