Job Summary
This position is in support of V2X for the W-TRS contract at Fort Irwin, CA. The contract encompasses several mobile platforms, generators, automatic transfer switches and multiple buildings to include remote shelter both on contentment and in the training area. The Electricians’ primary responsibility is to provide service and maintenance to electrical systems supporting the NTC Instrumentation System.
Job Description
- Responsibilities include troubleshooting, sustainment and maintenance of all on-site electrical components supporting the NTC-IS, in compliance with provided specifications.
- Ensures optimal functioning of all electrical systems and equipment to include generators, MAAR Vans, MVU vans, and W-TRS supported facilities both on cantonment and in the training area.
- Employs a blend of technical expertise and precision to troubleshoot issues and conducts regular system tests to provide seamless operations.
- Utilize specialized equipment to identify faults, measure loss, and verify the integrity of electrical circuits.
- Complies with all pertinent building codes and regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and make necessary repairs in a timely manner. Provide cross-utilization support to the power generation team.
- Captures all maintenance data and inputs into Maximo for work order tracking.
- Secret Level Security Clearance Required
Qualifications
- Degree(s)/Years Of Experience: (0+AA) or (1+No Degree)
- Certification(s): California State Electrician Certification
