Volunteer Opportunities at Empath Health include: Provide companionship, run errands or deliver supplies Make phone calls to patients, families or those who have experienced a death Provide companionship and honor fellow military brothers and sisters Provide massage, music, pet visits or Reiki Sit vigil or act as an end-of- life doula Answer phones, enter data into the computer, and welcome guests at our service center Provide support to patient and families as well as staff at our in patient unit at St. Joseph's Hospital Assist with daily activities at the Empath Life Adult Day Center ***Empath Health Does Not Offer Volunteer Hours for Court Ordered Community Service*** Volunteer Orientation

is a 3 hour training session for individuals interested in learning more about Empath Health's Volunteer opportunities. Patient and Family Support Training

consists of 6 hours of training for individuals interested in providing caring support to Suncoast Hospice Hillsborough patients and families. Empath Health Volunteer Orientation is a prerequisite. For more information or to register for training , call 727-523-3440
