As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service. Volunteer Site Coordinator - Thursday mornings, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM.
Lead and support our dedicated volunteers to ensure meals-and hope-reach those who need them. From organizing deliveries to stepping in to call, pack, or deliver when needed, coordinators lead the heart of our daily operations. Training for this position is provided. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in volunteering in an ongoing basis. Qualifications:
Good communication and people skills, reliable, good cheer, and a commitment to the well-being of homebound elders. This is an on-going volunteer commitment. Requirements:
Complete the Meals on Wheels Volunteer Application, consent to a Washington State Patrol background check, the ability to lift 15 pounds, and be age 18 or more.
