Electrical Engineer
to contribute to the design and execution of cutting-edge building projects. This firm have a strong presence across North America and are involved in a broad range of building projects across different sectors including commercial, public and multi-family residential work.
THE ROLE This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, developing innovative and efficient electrical engineering solutions that meet project requirements, budgets, and design aesthetics. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of electrical systems, building codes, and construction technologies to deliver high-quality, technically sound designs.
Key Responsibilities Engineering & Design:
Develop and integrate electrical systems into comprehensive building designs, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and jurisdictional requirements. Technical Development:
Conduct engineering calculations, material research, and system evaluations to optimize performance and efficiency. Project Execution:
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using
AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other industry-leading software . Site & Field Assessments:
Perform site evaluations, zoning reviews, and field surveys to document existing conditions and support project execution. Quality Assurance:
Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and project deliverables to ensure alignment with specifications, safety codes, and engineering best practices. Qualifications & Experience
Education & Accreditation:
A post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering;
P.Eng. designation
or eligibility for professional registration is preferred. Industry Expertise:
6-12 years of experience designing electrical systems for diverse building projects, including commercial, residential, institutional, or industrial sectors. Technical Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical engineering modeling software. Regulatory Knowledge:
