Position Summary
This position is for an Equipment Technician in the Implant Department. In this job, you will be a part of a team that focuses on maintaining basic condition on state of the art Semiconductor Production Equipment while driving improvements related to quality, efficiency, defect reduction, and cost of ownership. We prioritize safety, learning, and having fun while maintaining world class operations 24/7.
Role and Responsibilities
Practice 6S in the office and fab. Hold safety as the number 1 priority. Look for opportunities to reduce safety risks in all procedures and daily operations. Have flexibility in daily work schedule. Assist all the team members with daily work load and sustaining activities in the fab when necessary. Follow SOPs, PTPs, and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) to work efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. Perform Electrical, Pneumatic, and Mechanical troubleshooting Perform Mechanical assembly and disassembly. Perform PM (Preventive Maintenance) and BM (Break down Maintenance) on Implanter and Anneal tool sets. Learn how the tools operate and Learn known Breakdown Maintenance (BMs) recovery procedures. Learn and use new and existing systems that help in day to day job roles, i.e. SiMax, Workplace, Inform, EDM, EMS, etc. Be there for your teammates while building meaningful relationships that help all team members (including you) grow and achieve their best (and yours). Using these relationships to continually share knowledge and learn from one another. Learn and use tool GUIs in order to recover tool issues and extract data/information. Willingness to Cross-train on ion-implantation Equipment, rapid thermal processing equipment and Implant Department process team. Work in a team environment on the cleanroom floor in a full cleanroom smock. Maintain world class operations while working in a 24/7 high volume manufacturing environment. Bring a positive attitude to the workplace. Be curious and have willingness to learn. Shift: B or D shift Skills and Qualifications
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum # Years Required:
High School diploma is required. Technical degree or military technical experience preferred. 2+ years industrial manufacturing or similar experience required. Semiconductor experience with knowledge of 300mm AMAT VIISta, Axcelis Paradigm, Nissin Exceed, AMAT Centura, AMAT Vantage, Mattson Millios, and Veeco LSA platforms preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong mechanical aptitude highly desired Ability to network and find impactful solutions to complex problems Understanding of Lean Principles Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, maintenance manuals, and have familiarity with a variety of precision measuring instruments Ability and strong desire to constantly learn new things Willingness to try new things knowing that failure is just a learning opportunity Effective verbal and written communication skills Desire to do good for the company and in the community Great ideas to contribute to the next discussion about teambuilding Ability to lift items up to 50lbs Ability to work on cleanroom environment in a full cleanroom protective clothing for long period of time The current base salary range for this role is between $26.80 - $60.40. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
