Schedule : FT/Mon-Fri
Pay Rate: $14-16.50
Responsibilities: Safe assistance and transportation of residents. Responsible handling of resident's personal belongings, medications, and family communications which must be conveyed from the participant's residence to the Center. Maintaining good rapport with family caregivers, participants, and the community. Daily safety checks of the vehicle. Daily cleaning of the interior of the vehicle. Daily gas-up and weekly fluid check of the vehicle. Coordinate driver emergencies in route with emergency assistance. Immediately report any problems observed or encountered while transporting residents. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. A "no point" driving record verified by the Department of Motor Vehicles if applicable. Prior experience in transportation of the elderly is preferred. Have an active CNA certification on the state registry (highly preferred)
