Job Summary:
The SharePoint & Power Platform Developer is responsible for the design, administration, and support of Microsoft SharePoint and the Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate. This role enables efficient document management, business process automation, and low-code/no-code application development to meet evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both managing SharePoint environments and delivering modern, scalable business solutions using Power Platform.
Essential Functions: Administer and configure SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, metadata, and permissions. Enable and maintain SharePoint integration with ERP (Oracle EBS), MES, and CRM (SugarCRM) platforms to streamline business workflows and data sharing. Design and maintain business solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate, including integration with SharePoint, Dataverse, and other systems. Automate business workflows and approval processes to replace manual tasks. Ensure governance, compliance, and version control across SharePoint and Power Platform environments. Support end-users in building simple apps and flows using Microsoft 365 tools. Maintain platform availability, apply updates, and resolve SharePoint and Power Platform issues. Provide training and support to business users and internal IT staff. Document system configurations, standards, and procedures. Participate in modernization initiatives that replace legacy tools with Microsoft 365-based solutions. Additional Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business systems and operational needs. Provide user training and create system documentation. Support compliance with IT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist with software upgrades, patching, and testing activities. Participate in IT projects and system implementations. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Specifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3-5 years of experience managing and administering Microsoft SharePoint 2+ years of experience building apps and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate Strong understanding of SharePoint content architecture, permissions, and lifecycle governance Familiarity with data integration between Microsoft 365, ERP, and CRM platforms Experience supporting end-users and driving user adoption of collaboration tools Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into system configurations and workflows Skilled in user training, support documentation, and stakeholder communication Familiarity with change control, release management, and UAT practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Understanding of relevant compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, 21 CFR Part 11) Desirable:
Certifications in PL-100, PL-200, MS-600, or SharePoint Administrator, or project management (e.g., PMP). Experience with:
Power BI integration SharePoint Framework (SPFx) or JSON customization Microsoft Teams integration and Microsoft Lists Custom connectors and external API integration Integration of CRM with ERP, email, or marketing platforms ITSM tools and structured change management processes Working in validated or regulated environments
Ability to work cross-functionally with application, infrastructure, and support teams. Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, and climb stairs as needed. Ability to travel to company sites as required.
