Our client is currently seeking a qualified
Level 2 Desktop Technician
to join their team
onsite
in Melville, NY and provide end-user support. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills across Windows 11 and Mac devices, as well as the ability to deliver excellent client-facing service.
Duties and Responsibilities
:
Provide day-to-day support for end users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware and software issues
Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain Windows 11 and Mac OS devices
Support Microsoft Office applications and OneDrive, including setup, troubleshooting, and user assistance
Manage ticketing and support requests, following established processes and escalation procedures
Collaborate with end users directly in a client-facing capacity, ensuring professional communication and problem-solving
Assist with onboarding and device setup for new hires
Work under pressure to resolve technical issues while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor
(Preferred) Utilize tools such as ServiceNow, JAMF, and SCCM to manage systems and tickets
(Preferred) Provide team guidance or act in a lead capacity when needed
Skills and Qualifications
:
Experience supporting Windows 11 and Mac devices in a professional environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and OneDrive
Strong soft skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Ability to follow processes, take direction, and work independently under pressure
Previous lead or supervisory experience is a plus
Experience with ServiceNow, JAMF, or SCCM is highly desirable but not required
Wage Range
:
The rate for this position is between
$21.00 - $35.20 per hour.
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
