Job Title: Advanced Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As an Advanced Maintenance Technician, you will execute preventative maintenance on equipment and building facilities, troubleshoot various types of manufacturing equipment to minimize machine downtime, and use a broad range of hand and machine tools for equipment disassembly and reassembly, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance of equipment and building facilities.

Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to limit machine downtime.

Use hand and machine tools to disassemble and reassemble equipment.

Perform building maintenance duties, including troubleshooting light electrical equipment, carpentry, and plumbing.

Initiate machine programs using CNC or PC programmers.

Identify and remediate safety hazards and concerns.

Work with outside contractors to ensure timely business objectives.

Utilize shop math, complicated drawings, specifications, charts, and various measuring instruments.

Perform machining and welding tasks.

Stay updated with maintenance training of electronic and hydraulic systems.

Adhere to safety guidelines and lean principles, including formal problem-solving.

Clean equipment and work area.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of 2 years of related machine maintenance experience and/or maintenance education.

Ability to perform maintenance trades including welding, pipe fitting, fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Experience with troubleshooting and programming of PLC controllers is preferred.

Basic computer skills, math skills, and understanding of gauging/measuring devices.

Basic blueprint understanding and ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with others and independently troubleshoot and problem-solve.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with CNC Lathes and Mills including Mazak, Okuma, Mori Seki, Daewoo, and DMG.

Experience as a Journey Level CNC Mechanic or Mid-Level CNC Mechanic.

5+ years experience working on CNC Machines for Journey Level CNC Mechanic.

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing setting focused on producing actuators. The facility is located in Enumclaw, WA, and spans 120,000 square feet, employing 208 individuals. Employees work with advanced machinery in a world-class manufacturing facility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $69076.80 - $85404.80/yr.
