We are seeking an ETF Capital Markets Associate to support the management and growth of Neuberger Berman's ETF platform. This role is essential in fostering a best-in-class trading ecosystem, building and maintaining relationships with market participants, supporting efficient ETF trading and execution, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate is analytically minded, proactive, and passionate about delivering outstanding trading experiences for our clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and nurture relationships with Authorized Participants, Market Makers, and Exchanges to ensure a robust trading environment for Neuberger Berman's ETF offerings.

Monitor and analyze primary and secondary market activity (volume, spreads, execution quality) to support market health.

Collaborate with market makers and exchanges to address trading challenges and enhance market quality.

Assist in the design, review, and implementation of ETF baskets (including custom baskets) with Portfolio Managers and traders.

Monitor intraday trading activity and engage with liquidity providers as needed.

Facilitate the create-redeem process and ensure efficient trading structures by partnering with investment, product, trading, and operations teams.

Serve as a resource for clients, advisors, and sales teams, offering guidance on ETF trading strategies, order execution, and liquidity solutions.

Advise clients and internal partners on efficient trading practices and connect them with appropriate liquidity providers.

Support ongoing education and training initiatives for internal Neuberger Berman teams.

Collaborate with Product Development and Portfolio Management to evaluate and launch new ETF products, providing capital markets expertise.

Stay informed on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and regulatory developments affecting ETF trading and capital markets.

Liaise with product development teams and ETF ecosystem participants to gather and relay feedback.

Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the ETF business.

Proactively identify and drive process improvements to boost market quality and operational efficiency.

Perform daily reviews of ETF website data/holdings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Rule 6C-11.

Qualifications:

6+ years of relevant experience in ETFs, with direct exposure to capital markets, trading, or related functions.

Bachelor's degree required.

Series 7 and 66 licenses required (or willingness to obtain promptly).

Strong analytical skills; experience working with large datasets, market research tools, macros, and trading platforms (Bloomberg preferred).

Solid understanding of ETF capital markets structure, trading mechanisms, and market participants.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions, including Portfolio Management, Client Coverage, Sales, Product, Trading, and Operations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to accountability.

Team-oriented, proactive, high energy, and intellectually curious self-starter.

Experience with developing and maintaining dashboards, reporting, or analytical tools is a plus.

Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and the regulatory landscape affecting ETF capital markets.

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $130,000-$150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
