As a
Sr. OIPA Engineer , you will apply your technical expertise to modernize and enhance annuity contract generation and account opening applications. This role requires a strong ability to quickly understand complex systems, contribute to engineering and testing, and deliver top-tier solutions in collaboration with a skilled team. Requirements Key Responsibilities
Develop and configure policy administration systems using
Oracle Policy Administration Application (OIPA) . Build OIPA extensions and manage security implementations, screens, and release processes. Collaborate on the design, integration, and data extraction of applications, including working with AS Files and database structures. Implement software design patterns and utilize UML to model solutions. Apply
Test-Driven Development (TDD)
practices with Junit, Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor. Work with IDEs such as Spring Tool Suite and Eclipse in both UNIX and Windows environments. Write SQL queries and debug stored procedures in an Oracle database environment. Collaborate effectively as a team player while demonstrating leadership, innovation, and initiative. Stay adaptable and eager to learn new tools, practices, and technologies. Required Skills & Experience
4+ years
of hands-on experience with Oracle Policy Administration System (OIPA). Strong knowledge in configuration language, integration methods, data intake processes, and database architecture. Experience in release management and application security. Solid background in implementing design patterns and UML-based modeling. Proficiency in TDD frameworks (Junit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor). Hands-on experience with SQL query writing and debugging Oracle stored procedures. Familiarity with UNIX and Windows development environments. Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills
Experience with
Docker
and cloud service platforms such as
AWS
or
Azure . AWS Certification is considered a plus.
