Local vertically integrated company with timberlands and facilities across North America is looking for a

Project Technical Support.

The Engineering Technical Support role performs comprehensive and complex administrative functions, working closely and collaboratively with the Engineering and construction teams, other departments and facilities, vendors and suppliers to achieve Company and departmental goals and objectives within a structured and high-paced working environment.

As a Project Technical Support, you will be responsible for: Performs administrative functions, including but not limited to reception, maintaining office equipment, scheduling appointments, handling incoming and outgoing equipment shipments - packaging - mail, maintaining project files and contact lists, tracking creating reports. Supplier and equipment supplier coordination and communications for the entire project. Sends out contracts and project bids to perspective bidders, and coordinates the follow-up. Manages flow of drawings with vendors, suppliers and engineering teams and maintains a structured filing system, including stick files, making copies, scanning, distributing drawings and updating drawing registers Coordinates safety briefings of new people on the construction site, creates and assigns access badges for site control. Coordinates other site logistics such as equipment rentals and owner controlled insurance program Other site requirements such as janitorial services, pest control, recycle systems, fuel deliveries and other site support requirements. The ideal candidate for this role will:

High school diploma or equivalent Experience in project purchasing processes and vendor preferred Experience in a project-oriented work environment like construction or engineering communications preferred Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel Strong and accurate clerical skills including typing Highly detail-oriented - tracks details and even the most minor changes Detail oriented is absolutely critical with excellent organizing and coordinating skills, with strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and complete work from multiple sources and under pressure to meet deadlines Ability to manage/coordinate multiple facets of project execution process Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Service oriented and flexible Benefits:
