What You Will Do
Guidehouse Business Analysts support the successful delivery of technology and business transformation initiatives by bridging the gap between stakeholders and technical teams. They work closely with clients to understand business needs, analyze processes, and translate requirements into actionable solutions. Our Business Analysts are detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. They contribute to project planning, documentation, and solution design, ensuring that business goals are met with clarity and precision.
Responsibilities Include The Following
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and document business and functional requirements.
- Analyze current-state processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Support solution design and development by working closely with developers, testers, and project managers.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and agile ceremonies.
- Assist in the development of training materials, user guides, and change management plans.
- Conduct impact assessments and support testing and validation efforts.
- Maintain clear and organized documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum THREE (3) years of professional experience in business analysis or a related role.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and process flows.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
- Exposure to federal government programs or financial systems.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
- Knowledge of business architecture frameworks and enterprise modeling.
- Experience supporting digital transformation or modernization initiatives.
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., PMP, CBAP, Agile).
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python or R).
- Familiarity and/or experience implementing with low-code platforms.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Recent work experience on data projects in a federal government setting.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles and model interpretability.
