Fabtronic Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Mold Maker Designer to join our team. As a Mold Maker Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating molds used in the manufacturing of automotive paint aide tools. This is a critical role in our company as it directly impacts the quality and efficiency of our production processes.
Responsibilities
Design and develop molds using CAD software Create detailed 2D and 3D models of molds Collaborate with internal engineers and management team to understand project requirements Ensure that molds meet strict quality standards and specifications Perform mold repairs and modifications as needed Conduct testing and evaluation of molds to ensure functionality Continuously improve mold design and manufacturing processes Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mold Maker Designer Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks) Strong understanding of mold design principles and manufacturing processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Experience with mold repair and modification Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Effective problem-solving skills Good communication and collaboration skills Benefits Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, PTO, paid holidays. Weekly paychecks, 4 day work weeks (10 hours per day), overtime as needed.
