Position Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the development and maintenance of organizational reports and analytics, contributing to data-driven decision-making across the company. You will work closely with various departments to create dashboards, track key performance indicators, and ensure data accuracy and security. This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career in business intelligence while learning from experienced professionals.


Location: Houston TX (Hybrid)


Principal Duties
Assist in creating and maintaining dashboards for departments such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain.
Support the collection, monitoring, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) to help drive decision-making.
Collaborate with departmental teams to identify and analyze data that improves business processes and outcomes.
Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of the data warehouse to support organizational needs.
Assist in preparing reports and presentations that communicate insights effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
Participate in the identification of trends and operational improvements through data analysis.
Support data security and integrity by following best practices.
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve data accessibility and reporting efficiency.
Provide training and support to end users on BI tools and dashboards.

Qualifications
0-1 year of experience in business intelligence or data analytics roles.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent internship experience).
Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Basic knowledge of relational databases and data querying languages (e.g., SQL).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Python, or SAP is a plus but not required.


Other Requirements
Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
Must be fluent in English, Spanish is a plus.


Physical Requirements
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
Ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
