What You'll Actually Do (The Strategic Stuff)

Be the Strategic Bridge-Builder

• Partner directly with our President/COO to translate high-level business vision into detailed requirements and actionable plans
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, marketing, operations, and compliance teams
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define and refine business processes and system needs
• Serve as the primary liaison between business teams and technical development groups

Drive Business Process Excellence

• Analyze current business workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
• Document business requirements, use cases, and process flows using tools like Visio, Miro, and Confluence
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business objectives and user needs
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and business requirement specifications

Navigate Complex Stakeholder Relationships

• Manage competing priorities across multiple departments while keeping projects on track
• Facilitate meetings, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure alignment and progress
• Present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences from technical teams to executive leadership
• Build consensus among stakeholders with different perspectives and requirements

Master Gaming Industry Compliance

• Ensure all business processes and system requirements meet regulated gaming compliance standards
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to build solutions that satisfy both business and regulatory needs
• Maintain thorough documentation for audit and regulatory reporting purposes

Support Data-Driven Decision Making

• Work with data teams to define reporting requirements that support business insights
• Use tools like Tableau, Excel, and basic SQL to analyze trends and support strategic recommendations
• Present analytical findings in business-friendly formats that drive decision-making

The Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Economics, or related field preferred
• 7+ years as a Business Analyst in cross-functional environments (bonus points for tech, gaming, or startup experience)
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, process documentation, and stakeholder management
• Strong proficiency in business analysis tools (Visio, Confluence, Jira, Excel)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project coordination
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate between technical and business teams
• Experience conducting user acceptance testing and managing system implementations
• Strategic planning and business development experience
• Financial analysis capabilities including ROI assessment and business case development
• Market research and competitive analysis skills
• Change management experience with ability to drive adoption of new processes and systems

The Technical Nice-to-Haves

• Basic SQL knowledge for data analysis and reporting needs
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with API integrations and system implementations
• Understanding of database concepts and data flow processes
• Knowledge of business process modeling tools (BPMN, process mapping)
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting tools
• Familiarity with customer analytics and segmentation techniques
