Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Parts Inventory Specialist responsible for organizing and maintaining stock, tracking inventory, ordering new parts, and assisting technicians or customers with part identification and selection. The role focuses on managing the entire inventory, potentially placing orders, and working with suppliers to ensure stock availability for heavy-duty trucks. The position involves assisting technicians and customers at the counter by locating and selling parts, managing stock, and handling inquiries.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain stock inventory.

Track inventory and order new parts as needed.

Assist technicians or customers with part identification and selection.

Manage the entire inventory and work with suppliers to ensure stock availability.

Retrieve parts from the warehouse, check them out to technicians, and keep track of inventory.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the parts room.

Label and store parts correctly and track inventory levels.

Essential Skills

Knowledge of hydraulics, hoses, fittings, electrical lighting, and hose sizes.

Experience in customer service and inventory management.

Proficiency in data entry, shipping, and receiving.

Skills in inventory control, stocking, SAP, and cycle counts.

Strong computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the parts room.

Experience in labeling and storing parts correctly.

Work Environment

You will be working in the parts room behind a counter, using a computer to track inventory and coordinate with customers to order more parts. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Century, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
