Description
Primary Purpose and Function:
The primary purpose for this position is to pick, ship and deliver material for all sales orders shipping to our customers. These orders include Service Parts, Board Repair, Mechanical Exchange and Options. In addition to shipping, this position will support all other areas of the warehouse as required including the long-term plan of crating spindles / packaging Board Repair units.
Responsibilities:
Pick, pack and ship sales orders to customers. Fork-lift driving is required Crate / package finished goods in the Mechanical Exchange / Board Repair areas. Process international shipments / paperwork. Cycle counting of inventory to maintain proper levels. Cross-train to process/receive purchase orders from outside vendors Continually identify and implement process and procedure improvements Package/secure material for safe delivery Deliver material to internal customers Perform 5S Coordinate/organize shelves and floor areas Deliver shortages to proper areas Cross-train in all areas of the warehouse to lend support as needed
Qualifications
Valid OSHA approved Fork-lift certification (company training provided) Ability to work with other departments to achieve desired results Effective written and verbal communication skills Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent Customer Service skills Ability to repeatedly lift products weighing 5-60 pounds
Additional Preferred Experience:
Current warehousing / material handling experience.
