Description

Responsibilities Design and Drafting:

Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D). Permitting and Compliance:

Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Project Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs. Technical Reports:

Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making. Field Support:

Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, verify design implementation, and resolve on-site issues as needed. Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience:

0-3 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects. Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus. Licensing:

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or a willingness to obtain it. Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
