Summary: The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, effective time management, and clear communication skills. They should have at least a high school diploma or GED and two years of relevant work or military experience, though an associate's degree with six months of experience is also acceptable. A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Previous experience with GMP is a plus but not mandatory, as training can be provided. The role is fully onsite in Thousand Oaks, CA, and requires the ability to lift 50+ pounds and pass a vision assessment for inspection work. Candidates must be comfortable working with raw materials and components, though no lab work is required. Job stability is important. Candidates with multiple short-term roles within a brief period may be deprioritized. Candidates of all backgrounds and experience levels, including those who are overqualified, will be considered if they demonstrate the right attitude and interest in the role. The role offers long-term (3-year) engagement with limited overtime.
Responsibilities:
General inspection of received shipments of raw materials, components, and labels. Sampling of chemical raw materials and preparation of sample shipments. Quality inspection and dimensional analysis for component and label batches. Review of GMP shipment paperwork. GMP controlled document review. Receiving operations oversight and consultation (Purposeful Presence on the Floor). Initiation of deviation records.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, OR Associate's + 4 yrs experience, OR High school/GED + 6 yrs experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Science, OR Associate's in Science + 3 yrs biotech/pharma experience, OR 3 yrs regulated biotech/pharma experience

$24.99 - $26.74/hr.
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
